Kollage Square Circular SOFT CABLE Knitting Needles 24in

I have knit a sweater with my new needles. I like the fell of the Kollage Square needles. I can say I have noticed fewer aches and pains after hours of knitting. There is one annoying feature of this needle---the cable folds over at the join. This caused me to do a lot of tugging and pulling on the yarn and the needle as I knit.

I love these needles! I have suffered many years with RA. I am able to hold these needles easier and am able to knit longer.

These square needles produce a nice even tension. My project doesn't fall off of the double points. And these firm circulars are fantastic! The cable staying out of my way is a totally new experience!

Kollage needles are my favorite! They are great to work with. The cable is flexible not permanently curled.

I have not been able to use them too much yet. I did use them on the bottom edge of a child's jumper and they seemed nice. Not sure yet how the join is going to work but so far I am pleased with them,

I love the Kollage Square knitting needles, so I was looking forward to trying the circular needles. They're wonderful to knit with, smooth joins and the cable doesnt kink up. I like the way these needles feel in my hands.

Although I like the Kollage DPs very much I found the cable on the circular to be wimpy and difficult to deal with. Won't be buying any more circulars of Kollage.

These needles do feel great on my hands, but they kink where they connect to the plastic round cable. The effort used to keep straightening out the project put so much strain on my arms, that they more than defeat the benefit of the needles. I hope that they can solve this problem.

these square needles have made a significant improvement for me. I like the circular square needles best. after trying all the square needles I will continue to use wood when it's not circular knitting.

Interesting feel to the needles. I just started to knit with it and it is comfortable. I can't tell if the stitches are more even or not. It is neither more comfortable or less than a regular knitting needle. It is just a different feel and may be it will be a nice change.

I love knitting with these needles. Somehow the square shape helps the needle points to slip by each other more smoothly. Knitting seems to go so much faster.

The square concept maybe OK but the cord on the circular needle was horrible. It does not let your stitches slide. It is very flexible like they advertise but it grabs the yarn and won't let it slide. I would not recommend them unless you are a straight needle user. [...]

These square needles are a dream-- in the DPNs and the straights, that is. But the circulars-- boy, that cable join is just terrible. It has a bump in it, every single size, and the work just won't slide onto the needle from the cable. The cables on the larger sizes are substantial enough, but on the smaller needle sizes, it's like limp spaghetti and really awful to work with. I'm really irritated that Kollage did such a brilliant job with the needle part itself, but such a bad one on the cable. I spent so much money and they are really unusable!

The cable is made of unacceptable material, the yarn does not slide easily, the cable kinks and has to be pulled through the stitches periodically along the row. I have tried different weights of yarn without success with these needles.

I really like the Kollage double points, but will not buy their circulars. I truly LOVE the square needle, but that squooshy, worm-like, cable is something else. Fiber grabs onto it and it won't slide onto the needle for easy, tug-free knitting. I will gladly warm my Addi Turbos in hot water to take out the curve because my work slides so easily onto the needle. Kollage really needs to re-think the cable attachment; what they have now doesn't work.

These needles are great. No hand or wrist fatigue even after hours of knitting. The cord is supple; doesn't interfere with your work.

The Kollage double points are just as great.

I made 2 mittens at the same time using one square and one regular circular needle. The square needle was far easier to work with. Both needles were the same size and I didn't notice any problem with the gauge. I found if you push the stitches onto the back of the needle instead of trying to pull them the softer cord isn't much of a problem either.

All Kollage needles knit one size smaller stitches than labeled and the cable so so soft it is difficult to slide stitches as you work.
