Kollage USA Square Circular FIRM CABLE Knitting Needles 40 inch

I like the firm cable and the needle shape. The joins made knitting slower than it needed to be. I also noted the finish rubs off after minimal usage.

I LOVE knitting with square needles! It was a bonus for the cable to be soft. I will use use the firm cable if that's all I have because the #1 reason I use Kollage needles is the "SQUARENESS". Do you have word of Kollage making them in larger sizes than 10?

I have many Kollage square circular needles and I absolutely love the needles but the joins are terrible. The cord came loose from the needle twice while knitting a pair of socks on the size 0. The joins don't seem to be as much of an issue with the large size needles.

I've tried many circulars since I always use magic loop instead of DPNs. The cable on these are fantastic and are the best I've found - not too flimsy, not too stiff, no memory. The square shaft is more comfortable as well.
That being said, the join is not completely smooth nor are the points super sharp (which can be good or bad). I generally do not like metal needles because the yarn slips off (I hate Addi Turbos), but these have a little bit of friction that makes them very comfortable.
Depending upon your preferences, these can be a dream or nightmare. For me, they work well for thicker yarn and magic loop, but not as much for lace or "sticky" yarns that catch the joins.

The firm cable Kollage circs have been great for me magic looping. The only issues I've run into are as follows:

1. The 40" cable is really too short once you get above size 8

2. The joins aren't great on the size 0 and size 1 circs.

Other than that, I couldn't knit without these!! I definitely want to try the K-kable next!

Great and fast service

I've had the needles one day. This is a bit early to send a feedback email. I have found them to catch a bit on the cords. So far, this is what I have found but then again I've had them one day.

I can't say enough about these needles. Absolutely fabulous. Very easy to use, yarn slides very nicely off needles. Very easy to hold. Firm cable for me is the best. I have both types of cables. No snags at the join. I am teaching myself to knit socks. Very new at knitting, but always willing to learn something new. Keep up the good work with the needles. Hope to see a set of interchangeable needles soon. Will probably have to rob a bank to get them, but will be well worth it.

Used these needles for magic loop socks. They sucked..the joint does not allow for smooth slipping of yarn. Very frustrating. Liked the square needles & may try square doublepoints instead. Will not use these circulars again.
