For those of you who prefer a firmer cable on your circular needles but loved the square needles wait not more! New and improved coating on the needles and a firm but flexible cable with a smooth join.

Due to the difference in the square to round shape, we strongly recommend you knit a swatch for gauge. Please note most knitters to up one needle size to obtain gauge.

The square circs are great for lace knitting. Very sharp points. Easier on the hands and work well with "slippery" yarn such as silk or bamboo. I bought several sizes and the metal join on one is a bit rough. I used balck sandpaper to smooth it out. Price is reasonable and it is a good addition to my needle collection.

I like the new firm cable and the very sharp points. The needles don't smell like copper like the previous ones, I am so happy!
The only things I don't like very much are the joints, they snag. Bt if I don't knit very tight that is not a major problem.
Awful cable/needle seams | Review by Ingrid | Posted on 12/4/11: Kollage square straight needles are great, but they failed miserably making circular ones. The stitches will NOT slide over the seams without much help, making them practically useless. I returned mine and am sticking to the good Addi ones. Please tell the manufacturer to re- do their design, or stay out of the circular needle business.
