Kollage Square 6in DP Needles

I get arthritis pain, especially in one knuckle, when I knit a lot, and I have problems with carpal tunnel. I decided to give these needles a try to see if they really did help in these areas. I had to knit a pair of mittens quickly for a gift and so I had a some marathon knitting sessions over a couple of days. I used the size 1 dpns. It was like magic, no arthritis pain! It really was almost unbelievable. I was really pleased. I still had problems with carpal tunnel, but I think it was much less than it usually would have been.

So I was very pleased about not dealing with the arthritis, but watch out, these needles are sharp! They poke, and once I nearly impaled my hand when I took my knitting with me in a bag. I set the bag down on a bench and happened to lean on it with my hand. One of the needles had poked through the bag and that's where I happened to put my hand - ouch! Be careful with the needles around small children - not kidding.

I bought these needles from Paradise in a few sizes. They are so comfortable to knit with. Much more comfortable for my hands. Will be buying more soon !

I love these needles. They are very easy on my hands, especially for long hours of knitting with finer gauge yarns (socks, lace, etc). I will be buying more dpns, and possible straights and circulars as well. I did not have to adjust needle size to get gauge, as some have had to do.

Following hand surgery, I found it impossible to knit either easily or for more than 20-30 minutes, and my tension was unpredictable. I read an ad for Kollage square needles and decided to order. Incredible needles I can knit to my hearts content and my tension is perfect.

I received my order very quickly. I have ordered from Paradise Fibers before and have been pleased with the service. This is definitely a site that will be one of the first I check when I have needs.

The square DP's are as good as they say. Very confortable to use.
I found the gauge the same as round DP's.

I believe that my stitches were far more even and the stitch pattern showed nicer with these needles. I don't have arthritis in my hands so can't comment on their benefit in that respect, but I enjoyed using them. The stitches seemed to stay on the needles easier. Very pleased with these in the 3 sizes that I purchased,

I will be buying more of these.

This product is fast becoming my favorite style of dpns. The stitches fly off my needles well formed and looking even. My hands don't hurt after a long knitting session, which is excellent, since I really hate those aching hands. And yes, I have purchased multiple sets in the same size, I like them so well.

These square 6inch DPN's are perfect! My moderately arthritic fingers don't hurt after knitting much longer then usual. They are light, cool in the hand, don't roll around when set down, have the size stamped on each needle, tips are pointy but not too much. I've come back for more sets in different sizes and have quit knitting with the magic loop method and gone back to dpn's because these are really so great! You have to try one set, you won't believe the difference they make!

Love these. They are wonderful and I'm not sure why, but they really do feel better in your hands. I just love them and can barely stand to knit socks with anything else. If you've tried the circulars in this line and didn't like them, it's just the cable and the join-- these DPNs are wonderful.

I have all kinds of dps, I have brittany, pony, metal, bamboo, and swallow
needles and these are my very favorites ! I think that being square the needles don't 'roll', I knit longer and faster with them.

I was curious to try these needles having heard so much about them. I bought 6 in. US 4 which is too short since I like 7 in. My mistake. I was working on a pair of socks with throwaway yarn, so I just switched the needles. These are very good needles. The yarn is very slippery but stays put on these needles. They do knit smaller as can be seen on my sock, but I'm not sure it's small enough to move up a size. My cuff is 3" wide with round needles and 2 6/8" with the Kollage. I find I have to be careful moving from one needle to another or I'll get a very loose stitch, but the stitches are more uniform. Overall, I like these needles very much and have ordered 3 more sets.

I have many many DP needles, and these are now my very favorite, so
much so I have the same size in 5" and 6" for knitting socks ( I like
the longer needles for the instep ) I seem to knit faster and drop fewer
stitches and these needles being square, don't roll. I find them easier
on the hands and can knit longer.
