KA Classic Bamboo Circular Knitting Needles- 9 INCH

I love these circulars. They don't catch at all. It's the first time I've bought circulars in this KA brand. I normally use Addi turbos. I really like them a lot, and would highly recommend them. I love the KA brand in the DPNs, that's why I gave the circulars a try.

The joint between needle and cable catches my yarn on the size 2's I received.

I ordered this item on Saturday, November 5, 2011. I requested expedited shipping (2-3 day, UPS) and received an order confirmation. Within that order confirmation was the link to track my shipment. I didn't expect an update till Monday the 7th. But when I hadn't received an update or the product by the 9th, I called Customer Service and they tracked the item. When I called back, I was told that UPS stated they had not received the shipment. Nor could it be found at Paradise Fibers. I cancelled the order, though the representitive (Kevin I believe) had offered to ship out the product - but they didn't have any remaining in stock. A full refund was promised - they handled the situation well (other than they didn't call me back with detail, I had to call them).

The KA needles are wonderful! I'm slowly collecting all sizes of the circular ones. I love the light-colored bamboo tips, which make it easier to see my pastel yarns, and the tips have the perfect amount of sharpness. I do a lot of lace knitting, and these have become some of my favorite needles to use.

I love the length of these needles. I am not fond of dpn's and only use them when absolutely necessary. These needles are short enough (12") to avoid using dpn's on babies and children's hats that I make a lot of for charities. The join on them is not as smooth as my favorite needles but it is definitely adequate and their price is reasonable.

KA circulars don't ever twist up because of the swivels built into the needle/cable join. The cables are soft and flexible.

I did find some snagging on the metal part of the needle/cable joints, but not so badly that I don't want an entire set of these! KA bamboo needles are my go-to knitting tools.

I have a hard time using double points, so I bought these to finish the sleeves on my sweater - they were perfect!

I recently tried several circular needles, and was very frustrated at the length of the bamboo part of the needle. Then I found KA..... what a difference. I will use KA for all my circular knitting....even if I have to order them on line ~ they are not carried by many knitting stores, YET!

The sweater for which I bought the needles is big, and the wooden part of the needle is too short. I guess I need a needle that is more like a regular straight needle with a long extension

I was searching all over for bamboo circular knitting needles in the smaller 12" size and couldn't find any until I found your site! They are wonderful - thank you so much! The metal needles hurt my fingers and I have more issues with stitches slipping off the needles with metal. I was beginning to think they didn't make bamboo in the smaller sizes and was getting discouraged. You have a wonderful stock and selection. Thank you for having just what I need!

Like the needles a lot

I will buy more of this brand. I love the swiveling cable ends and bamboo is excellent to knit with.

When I couldn't find Clover needles in the size I wanted, I bought these instead, and I am so glad I did! The needles can swivel on the cord, and the cord is thinner and more flexible than other brands, which makes knitting so much easier. I will definitely be adding more KA needles to my collection.

I just recently started to knit with the #4, 24" circular needles. I have never had a pair where the needle swivels. I have had the frustrating time of repositioning the circular needle and twisting the cord attachment as I knit. I was concerned that the yarn would get hung up on the swivel fitting. That is not the case! These needles are a delight to knit with and I can't wait to give the other 2 pair as gifts. I will look forward to ordering more needles from you as I add to my collection. These are the absolute best circular needles for making socks. You still have to change to double points at the heel and toe, but these do all the rest at top speed.

Love that the cord spins independently of the needle itself, unlike the Clovers with the fixed cord, makes it easy to arrange my work. Brass fittings are sharp and rub against the edge of my hand; maybe it's just this size? I have another larger set I haven't used yet, we'll see if they do the same.

I've started knitting preemie caps for a local hospital and ended up being frustrated by the use of four knitting needles for such a small project. I reasoned that surely someone else in the world would have thought to make circular knitting needles in a length shorter than 16". I found Paradise Fibers and their collection of KA Bamboo Knitting Needles.

I fell in love after 30 seconds of use. True, the needle part is shorter than on a 16" circular, but the learning curve is truly minimal.

I will be buying some as presents for Christmas!!!

If you do any sort of small project knitting, you really need to consider these needles. I have no problems with yarns catching on connections; the points are perfect for thinner yarns. Yup, I love these needles.

I have these in several sizes. I enjoy the 9" ones for small projects like socks or sleeves and larger ones for other knitting projects. I love the flexible cables and the smooth join with the swivel feature, which prevents any fighting with cords as you knit. I had been apprehensive because bamboo tends to be sticky, but these needles knit quickly without too much grab.

I knit hats & caps every week and use these needles to close the top. I have also given them to friends as gifts.

The bamboo tips are very smooth and easy to keep your knitting even. The 16 inch circular needles are just right for knitting scarves and hats. I knitted 23 hats and scarves last winter for charity groups and friends.

The 9 inch circular needles are perfect for knitting baby caps, which I do a lot of. I've made 47 so far, and still knitting. I make them for charity groups.

I was so glad that I found you. I have been looking for smaller circular needles for a long time. I have problems with my hands, so double pointed needles are hard for me to work with. These needles slide just perfect for me and are much easier for me to handle. I have now purchased size 6 & 8 12". Because these worked great I have purchased size 3, 6 & 8 in 24". I use the 12" for socks, cuffs, etc. The 24" for all other things, such as sweaters, skirts, dresses and vests. Thanks for handling these sizes.

I ordered the 9" size. They are great for tube socks and sleeves but takes a little getting use to after using double points and for use on small rounds.

I have bought these needles twice for sleeve knitting. They make the work much faster and easier than DPN's. The join is smooth, the tips are fairly pointy, and the bamboo is nice.

I've used several different brands of circular needles, both metal and bamboo, and I must say these are the best I have used !! The closest are the Crystal Palace Bamboo circs, but they are twice the money!! The polish on these is terrific, surpassed only by Addi Turbo's for slipperyness. The swivel works great, and what ease on the wrist !!

Added bonus: I feel a lot safer knitting with these on the treadmill, rather than a whole handful of pointy sticks!

I'm starting a project that required a 29" length needle. It is really to find needles by just walking into a yarn store. So I was thrilled at the large selection! These needles are simply beautiful! I would definitely recommend these needles and I plan on purchasing more here. thanks

I am SO happy that Paradise Fibers is carrying the KA circs! ANY circular that has the coveted SWIVEL join are tops for me, as arthritis and carpal tunnel are issues that I deal with.

What a pleasure to knit with these! I struggled with another brand and gave up when the stitches kept catching at the joint. These have a smooth joint and are as pleasurable to knit with as Addi brand needles.
