I love this awesome little loom. Review by karakoolkitty

Sturdy, beautifully crafted and finished. Easy to warp - I watched the video and was up and running in twenty minutes. I had never used a loom before like the previous reviewer, but with the booklet, video & Youtube (Youtube is your friend) I was able to quickly pick up the basics and create some lovely fabric. Since then I have woven towels, table runners, place mats and fabric for clothing items. I really love that I can fold the loom with the current project intact and tote it around with me, or move from room to room or even outdoors on a nice day. With pickup sticks and the double heddle blocks you can even work complicated patterns and weaves AND there is an assortment of reed for finer yarns and threads. What's not to love? Go get one! Do it now!

It is a good quality product and am enjoying it immensely. Couldn't have set it up without the booklet included.

Perfect for an informed beginner Review by MadameX

This loom is very sturdy, a great size, and easy to use once I understood the setup. We have a floor loom that I don't use because watching the warping process was intimidating. The warping process on the rigid heddle loom was very straightforward. I did find the instructions to be terse, bordering on cryptic. The presence of someone who had warped the floor loom and could talk me through the logic of warping the rigid heddle helped a whole lot. The instruction book was much less helpful (and assumed way more knowledge) than a human being. But that aside, this is great and I look forward to many years of weaving simple but elegant fabrics on it.

Colour, Colour, Colour Review by Jen, The Angry Spinner
-
Madelyn van der Hoogt, Founder and Principal Instructor of The Weaver's School and editor of Handwoven says that weavers are either colour people or structure-pattern people.
This is the loom for the colour people. If what you really want to do is have an easy, fun way to make colourful fabric without the hassle of multiple harnesses (and faster than you can knit it!), if twill doesn't turn you on -- this is the loom for you.
At the Scottish Highland Games, my 14 year old daughter taught boys as young as 3 years old and women in their 80s to use this loom.

STASH REDUCER!! Review by Marcy
-
I saw an article about how the rigid heddle looms are a perfect partner to the spinner who produces wonderful yarn, yet can't knit fast enough to use it up. The Knitter Loom from Ashford is the answer to stash-busting! One of my first projects was a combination knitted/woven pullover inspired from Frogtree Yarns. I was hooked! Since then, I've made ruanas, ponchos, messenger bags and bookmarks. Now I spin specific fibers for use on the loom.

SO EASY!! Review by Sara in Paradise
-
I had never weaved before and I couldn't believe how easy this was. I warped it in less than a half an hour and then I was ready to weave. I would definitely recommend this loom to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of time warping their loom. It is functional, affordable, so easy to use!!
