Kollage Square Circular FIRM CABLE Knitting Needles 16in

I decided to give these another try because of the firmer cable, and of course the sale price helped, too. I do have trouble with the right hand, wrist and arm now because I am a leftie who was taught to knit right handed at the age of seven. No trouble until I got older, and more into knitting as my main hobby. The square shape does help a lot, but the wimpy cords of the first version were a pain - doubled back on themselves right into the knitting. My only complaint is a slight grittiness as the points come together (a mini version of scraping one's nails across a blackboard), but not significant enough to not use them (I'm used to the smooth action of Addi Turbos). I will be ordering more of the most used sizes.

My stitches are more consistent with the square needles - I think it's because I don't have to grip as hard. Definitely easier on the hands. I prefer the firm cable. It's hard to get the stitches over the join with the soft cable.

I have very painful hand joints from Fibromyalgia and these needles have kept me knitting. I can finally hold needles without pain. I know the Kollage company has recently moved to the US and more sizes will be available soon. Can't wait. I do prefer the Firm Cable when on a many stitch project.

Love this would like to see more in sizes 7 and 8 for 16 and 32 inches. Great service. Good communications.

overall these are nice needles... i find the join between the cable and needle to be a bit troublesome though.

I'm really not a fan of metal needles but I like these Kollage Square Circs. With round metal needles my hands tend to tense up, especially with the shorter circs, but the square shape seems to alleviate that. The join isn't as smooth as some which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Will definitely try the wood square needles, too.

I love these needles, they are easier on my hands, and I have graduated from kntting with wood to metal now. They have a nice medium fine tip and I love working with them, they aren't slick like some other needles are.
