Glimakra Emilia Folding Rigid Heddle Loom 13"

The 13 inch Emilia loom is very comfortable to weave on and its just the right size for making scarves, bags, table runners, placemats, kitchen towels, you name it. This is my third Glimakra loom - I was pleased to see that the cloth beams on the little Emilia are the same size and shape as the beams on my 32 inch four harness loom - this makes it so much easier to beam the warp with even tension. And of course the metal rachet and pawl system provide a positive lock when you advance the warp. This is a sturdy, well-engineered piece of equipment that I can carry out on the deck on nice spring days, or take along while traveling in the RV..

Great little loom for the price. Simple and sturdy, with metal rachets, which you don't see on most small looms.
The back of it is higher than the front, this built in slant helps create a wider shed.
I like the way the heddle block holds the heddle and doesn't depend on the tension of the warp to hold it in place.
I bought this to use with my handspun and I am not disappointed. It will get used for a whole lot more than that.
On the stand its easy to move from room to room, and its quiet to weave on. It folds easily when off the stand, even with a warp on it.
The width (13") is wide enough to weave fabric for vests and more.
I'm delighted with this loom.
