Lyocell is the thoroughly modern version of rayon. It is man-made from
tree pulp that comes from ecologically grown and harvested trees. Unlike
rayon, it is stronger when wet and does NOT require dry cleaning! It has
high luster and dyes beautifully with dyes for cellulose fibers. Lyocell
is produced with a chlorine-free bleaching process that does not produce
dioxins.
