This is a new sampler pack from USA fiber mill Ferndale Fiber! These USA felting wool samplers have 5 colors per pack with a variety of color scheme packs to choose from. Ferndale is one of the few US wool providers in the US, go Ferndale! The type of wools in the samplers are mixed but all are soft breeds great for felting. Please don't even compare these packs to the New Zealand packs, this US wool will blow you away and felts much better than the NZ wools we offer. Comes packaged in a clear recyclable box.

I bought the 'golds' pack because I was looking for a light yellow along with some darker oranges/yellows in earthier tones, essentially what is in the photo. Unfortunately this is not what I got, they are all MUCH brighter than I expected! Great for an oriental dragon, perhaps, but not the natural tones I was looking for. The price is great and this felts much faster than the wool I can buy at my local chain craft store, but is not as soft. I believe that is a good trade-off though!

Thanks, I made a nice felted necklace for my daughter from the purple and pink fiber. All colors were dyed evenly except the greens, but it's no big deal for me, being just a beginner. I made a few broches-flowers as a trial as well. I think I will keep looking for slightly cheaper price of the product though. [...]Overall - nice product.
