Denise Knitting Needles-Interchangeable Knitting needle set

My first set of interchangeables was Boye. I love the metal needles and the fab colors, but the cables are a stiff nightmare and the connectors snag and often come loose after a period of time. Denise needles are resin, not metal, and all white, two features I don't really like. But, the cables are nice and flexible (though much thicker than the Boye cables) and the connections are straight, not angled like the Boyes, and they rotate shut as opposed to screwing shut so they theoretically won't come undone during knitting. However, after repeated use, I have had some cables come loose during knitting. They're plastic and so they do get worn down. All in all, the Denise needles are great for travel (they're airline approved), lightweight, very well organized in a neat case, and an inexpensive way to have several sizes of circulars on hand.

I love my new knitting needles they are the best I have already made a hat with them and I am now working on another one ! I knit with 2 circulars when knitting in the round and these needle change with ease.

I have three sets of interchangeable needles=wood,metal,crystal. These are the absolute BEST needles I have used. The cables are perfect-flexible, kink-free,best length and diameter. They are easily connected. The join is smooth. The points are well tapered and the feel is lightweight, warm and comfortable. I am only sorry that I waited so long and went through so many sets before I found exactly what I needed.

These are actually my second pair of the Denise Knitting Needles, so I already knew they would be great. What I like about them is they are so lightweight! The connection of the cords to the needles lock in nicely and they do not come loose. I have other interchangeable needles which I like a lot, but they screw together and will periodically come loose. I keep having to check them and re-tighten them to keep an accident from happening. Not the case with the Denise Knitting Needles; they stay locked together. I also took these needles on the plane, and no problem getting them through security.

I thought this inexpensive kit would have some drawback, but it is perfect for me. I have one piece of my project on extensions when I'm working on the other piece. When I join them together, it'll be easy to knit them together from the extensions.

I am using cotton yarn that I would split with my next favourite bamboo needles. I don't split yarn with Denise. It's great. I am thrilled to find this set and will be using it for a long, long time.

love the feel of the needles and cords. so easy to change from one to another. as a novice, i feel i have good control with the needles, and they glide smoothly. the cords are flexible, & i don't have to fight them. these are well made tools that make knitting easier and more enjoyable.

These needles are GREAT for traveling. Takes a few minutes to figure out how to latch them together, but it's really very simple. They are smooth and do not catch on the yarn. TSA accepts them with no problem (unlike some others.) I heartily recommend these for travel needles!

The transition from needle to cord is so smooth. There's no catching of the yarn. It's nice that I could use two different sized needles if I wanted to. With all the size and length possibilities, this set is worth the price.

Denise needles have been my go-to for a long time. You can't find a better circular needle set in terms of sizes and value for money, and if you like knitting on plastic needles you'll probably love them. I do find the cords are a bit too rigid for Magic Loop, and the inter-cord connector doesn't always stayed locked with I link the two longest cords together. Other than that, I'm very happy with them.

I purchased the Denise Interchangeable Needles because I was sick and tired of having to buy different size and length circular needles for every project and it was a great buy!
I do a lot of afghans, baby blankets and moebius knitting so being able to add on extra length of cable deN on the project is ideal. It's also very easy to change the needle size mid-project.
I also use them as Flex needles, with the long tail on the end and the stopper. A lot easier to handle a full size afghan than on a circular.
Other than not having enough extenders, which you can get more of from Paradise, it's a best buy!

I own 3 sets of the Denise needles. I have had one problem with a connection breaking and I had the new piece within 3 days, mailed directly to my house. The customer service, if problems do occur, is top-notch. These needles are great because you can start multiple projects with the same needle size and move easily between them with a twist of the wrist. Also, the new individual cords and needles are great additions as well. Also, 30, 42 inch cords are a must.

This is one of the least expensive interchangeable needle sets, but also one of the few with a truly wide range of tips: 5 to 17. The case they come in is more than adequate for long-term use. About the only thing that some people may not like is that you can't get very small needles w/ this system. I really love using the system when I need a big stitch holder as well.

I don't know what I did before my Denise needles. I have problems with my wrists and these are light enough that they don't hurt. I love the abiltiy to make longer and shorter cables as my shawls get larger or smaller without changing the needles. Also, the plastic tips are "warmer" than the metal ones sold by other companies, again making them easier on my hands.
