I got this pattern to make for my four grandchildren, size 2 is done, hald done with the 8, have another 8 and than a 12. I wish I would have had a grandmother who made me this when i was a girl. Pattern is simple and easy, plus is it fun to read.

25 years ago my Mother had a pattern similar to this, which she knit for all the grandchildren in most sizes. I am excited to make this for today's young mothers to use for their children as they explore the outdoors, too.

Made this with Kollage square circular and DP needles. This was a fun sweater to make for my grandson. Fit him perfectly. Gauge most important!!! Now I'm making one for my daugter. Can't wait to have one of my own.
