The Scahcht Matchless spinning wheel is one of the most responsive spinning wheels available today. The Matchless wheel offers double drive, scotch tension and bobbin lead modes of operation. This is not a wheel you will grow out of. The Matchless comes with two flyer whorls- medium 9:1 and 11:1 and the fast whorl 13:! and 15.5:1. Each matchless flyer is individually balanced and the bobbins and flyer whorls are trued on center. This is a double treadle wheel and it comes with 4 bobbins, a threading hook, tensioned lazy kate and a carrying strap. Choose from the options below to add to your Matchless package for maximum spinning capabilities and enjoyment.
Additional Bobbins: Choose from standard, high speed and the plastic travel bobbins. You can never have too many bobbins!
Spinning Wheel Cart: This is the neatest way to travel with your Schacht Matchless wheel. We've used special hardware in the spinning wheel legs for quick attachment and removal of rubber wheels.
Jumbo Bulky Flyer: Add plying and bulky art yarn spinning capabilities to your Matchless. This flyer features a large 7/8 inch orifice, large capacity bobbin (8 oz), sliding flyer hooks and large round ruide hooks. Regular sized bobbins work on the Jumbo Flyer as well, so you don't have to worry about constantly switching out your flyer. Whorl ratios do not change with the Jumbo Flyer. Includes the Jumbo Flyer, 1 Jumbo Bobbin, and the front maiden and bearing.

Deluxe Niddy Noddy: You will need a niddy noddy to wind your yarn from the bobbin and into a skein. The Schacht Niddy Noddy is the perfect tool to do this! It winds 2 yard and 1.5 yard skeins. It has been beautifully designed to easily remove a full skein of yarn. It has a unique telescoping tubing and is available in either maple or cherry.
Whorl: Choose from these additional whorls for adding a range of ratios to your wheel. Extra Slow- 5:1 and 6:1, Slow- 6:1 and 7.5:1, High Speed- 17.5:1 and 19.5:1, Super High Speed- 18.5:1 and 22:1.
