Brittany Knitting Needles Birch Double Point Needles

These were hard to find, and I am delighted that I found them at your shop. I was specifically looking for made in the USA wood DP knitting needles, and these fit the bill beautifully. Thanks for the great product!

Well made and comfortable, these needles neatly held the stitches while also providing a nice, smooth flow. A reliable product at an affordable price. I own other Brittany needles and have never been disappointed.

These needles are perfect. I needed to knit 12x12" squares in the round and it was perfect. The yarn stayed comfortable on the needles and allowed me to measure my squares without them being all squished like on the smaller dpn needles I have. I just love these needles.

The Brittany's I own are for socks, so they are a US size 2, and I love them. They "grip" the yarns I work with a little bit so they are less likely to slide off the needle. I throw plain socks into my purse all the time as my on-the-go projects and I have yet to lose stitches. They needles are also very very smooth and the points are just pointy enough to knit well, without being painful. Knitting stubborn stitches with them can be a bit scary at times because I'm always thinking I'm going to snap the working needle in half, but it's never happened. I would certainly buy more of these needles for socks or mittens.

These are really nice needles. Knitting is fun and with the birch wood the yarn slips nicely. The tips could be a bit sharper, but all in all I really enjoy using them for my projects.

I purchase these needles for a bottom-up cardigan that I am working on. They are well made.

I love these needles and use them exclusively for all of my sock knitting. I did break a very small size needle, but the company sent me a replacement VERY quickly. The needles feel great and my yarn slides along nicely.

These are the only needles I use, because their lightness and flexibility allow me to knit without aggravating my tendonitis. The finish strikes the perfect balance between smoothness and stick: The yarn glides but the needles don't fall out.

These are the best double pointed needles in this price range. The birch wood warms up to your hands and they are much less prone to splintering than bamboo needles. The yarn doesn't slide a lot on them either.

I've been using these needles for years for making hats and mittens with bulky yarns (9 & 10 1/2 needles) and now that I'm making socks too I use them (size 2&3) for that too. Some of my friends say they won't use such thin wooden needles for fear they will break. After 2 years of use the only needle that broke was one that I stepped on when it was sticking up at an angle in a project I'd put on the floor. These needles are strong and giving. They feel lovely on my fingers.

I could not believe these needles got here as fast as they did. My dog had chewed on one of my wooden DP needles - and I was unable to continue on my project - but the replacement was here so fast that I hardly missed a beat! Thank you.

I'm making my first pair of socks and decided that knitting them both at the same time I was more likely to end up with a pair instead of stopping after just one. I bought this set of needles as extras to my KA set and I actually like these a bit more. They're just the slightest bit shorter and I really like working with them better.

I received the #2 7-1/2" DPNs in no time at all. They're just what I needed for a pair of socks. The needles are good quality and knit well. I only wish the points were a little bit sharper but I will still use them. I will probably order another set. Thanks Paradise Fibers.

I use all bamboo or birch Flex needles and double points. They are comfortable and easy to use and because they are wood the yarn does not readily slip off while holding in back etc. I constantly recommend them to fellow knitters.

This is my second set of birch needles. I am impressed with the quality of the product in term s of durability and ease of use.

These needles were in a hard to find size (10.75), that I needed to do the sleeves of a garment I was making. I was so pleased to find them at Paradise, and was able to complete my sweater quickly!

These are my favorite double points. I sometimes use these even when I could use circulars! The needles are very well finished. The wood is smooth and warm, but not too slippery. I have the whole set in the 7.5 inch length, but would recommend the 5 inch length for gloves or childrens socks.

These are my go to needles for sock knitting. Needles that are longer or shorter are quite awkward for me. The wooden needles are warm and flexible and offer the most comfortable knitting. I've tried every other type of needle and nothing else works as well for me.

The 5 inch length is very comfortable in your hand to knit socks and mittens--no poking you! No need to worry about stitches slipping off when you need to suddenly sit your project down. I will purchase these in other sizes.

these are inexpensive and great quality...all kinds of sizes...does not let the stitches slip easily off when you are knitting in the round

I try others but come back to these for sock knitting. The five inch length makes the circumference of socks easy to manage and I love the grab when I'm working at small gauge. I am philosophical about replacing them when the tip splinters: it's a feat of engineering in the first place to make size ones in wood.

I'm 27, but have been knitting for several years, and my wrists and hands let me know about it :). Holding these wonderful birch needles makes my hands happy, and they (and their 5" cousins) are short enough that when knitting flat, I don't have to wrench my wrists around in an unnatural fashion. You will love these needles!
