I can't say enough about this video and what it has done to help my spinning. Judith McKenzie is AWESOME! She has a way of teaching that breaks things down to the simplest element without making the student feel inferior. I have already watched this three times and pick up something new each time I see it. This is one of the "must haves" for a spinner.

The DVD was slow and boring.

I found this instructional video very informative and easy to watch. First thought I would watch bits at a time but found that I didn't want to stop watching. So many questions answered and much information that I didn't even know I needed. I will look for more of Judith Mackenzie instructional videos.

As a mostly self taught spinner, I only know how to spin yarn one way. With this DVD, learn how to spin yarn Woolen, Semi woolen, Worsted, Semi Worsted, Slub and Boucle. Add Judith MacKenzie and put it on a DVD so that you can try the techniques as she explains them? A wonderful teaching tool! I consider it the "must have" item to add to your spinning tools.

It explains the mysteries and techniques related to worsted spinning, woolen spinning, combing, plying in various methods and more. She is all about making "perfect yarn" and sets the benchmark for this type of spinning. It's a very comprehensive 2 DVD set that will give you tons of new technique variations on spinning. Judith is thorough, precise and fun to watch. Can't wait to try some of the new things I learned!
