Addi double point knitting needles are great if you typically break your small size wooden or bamboo needles. They won't break on you and they are very durable and smooth. 8 inch length double pointed needles. Available in 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.25mm, 3.5mm, 3.75mm, 4.0mm, 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 5.5mm, and 6.0mm.

I bought a full set of wood sock knitting needles from another brand but they were not holding up and it came time to upgrade. I own a set of Addi Lace Interchangeable and I love them so I decided to try a set of these. I love them already, they are nice, lightweight and smooth (unlike my catchy wooden ones) but these needles are not too slippery (like the Addi Lace ones). So these should be perfect for sock knitting. Also shipping was so fast (almost to the dangerous instant gratification level ;). In any case I am back to order another set of these. I know I will enjoy knitting with these needles for years to come!

These are very nice needles to work on heavier yarn with. The 8 inch length really helps keeping the project on the needles. They are just perfect for hats.

I ordered #1 and #0 aluminum DPI because wooden ones kept breaking (they have the diameter of toothpicks). The medal needles work like a charm. The Addi needles have sharp tips that glide through each stitch. Also, the size is imprinted on each needle. Love them.

I've only used bamboo because of price, but once I broke down and bought a few, I will NEVER go back...so nice and smooth and I can actually knit faster! Buy these, you will not regret it...

These needles are lovely. Smooth enough to be comfortable in your hands with just enough traction to hold slippery yarn. Great for socks.
